What a beautiful day for Jen and Andy, congratulations guys ! Don’t forget to share below, thanks
I finally got through the 3000+ pictures from our family vacation at Disney and decided to post some of my favorites. I had so much fun and really enjoyed watching Madison and Chase have fun. Of course they could have fun just hanging out by the pool all day at the resort
I got some amazing photos and even went out a couple of nights after the kids went down to get some HDR (high dynamic range) images. I did get stranded at Magic Kingdom one night…I thought I was going to have to walk back to the resort lol. Some of the images I got I’m going to turn into canvas prints and decorate the kids room, can’t wait for that! I had a hard time picking the ones to show but I narrowed it down to the 100 you see here lol, enjoy guys !
It’s a very special day for two people I had the opportunity to shoot last year year, Brendan and Erin. Congratulations on your one year anniversary!
This is one of my favorite photos of the couple from their e shoot, man..time flies!!
Jen and I have been friends for years so I was honored and super excited when she asked me to shoot her wedding coming up in May. Her fiance Andy is a cool guy, very laid back and of course he’s my boy because he’s also into photography lol. For the engagement shoot we stopped by a near by train track in Albany and finished in downtown Albany.
I usually do the story of how the couple met and got engaged but I thought I’d switch it up a bit and let you hear it straight from the couple. The story is so cute and funny I thought I’d spread the love ! So enjoy guys and don’t forget to share the post by clicking below.
Told by Jen O’Leary:
“So, it was a cold & blustery day, the snow was falling and my car was stuck in the drifts of snow that just kept coming…and BAM, out of the blue, there was Andy to help me…and the rest is history…..”
“Yeah, not quite LOL!!!!”
“So, here’s the real story: Andy and I met online on a dating site. He sent me a message in October of 2009, which he claims he had tried to do about a year prior to that too but I just didn’t answer him. I remember I had seen his photo quite a few times in the span of a year or so, and I just kept coming back to it. When he sent me a message, I decided to pay for the site for a month, just so I could reply to his message. We started texting, then talking on the phone and then we eventually met in person. From that first night we met, when he did something as simple as bring me coffee, to the fun dates after that of hockey games, movies, going out to eat, we just clicked. But even more so important was that he totally clicked with Tyler when they eventually met. I knew Andy was a stand-up guy from day one, but especially knew it when I started meeting his friends and family. Ironically enough, our circle of friends connected in such crazy ways that I’ve always wondered why we never met before this. But whatever the reason, it was all meant to be in the end.
Andy and I had been dating for just over 2 years when he proposed. He had been saving up for the ring and had it for about a month when he decided it was the perfect night to propose. We were going to Turning Stone for the evening, and apparently everyone in the world knew that he was going to pop the question….except for me. He kept that sparkly ring in his pocket all night waiting for the right timing…..but every time he wanted me to go outside with him while we were at Turning Stone, I said, it’s raining or it’s cold….I’ll wait inside for you. When he did get me outside to take a walk around the fountain, it was raining and I hightailed it back inside. Poor Andy. So we got home, late that night, and I went in the room to change (came out with awesome pj’s, hair thrown up, and exchanged my contacts for glasses), and when I came out he was standing there and he said he had something to tell me. And with that he got down on one knee. I’m pretty sure my heart stopped, and even think I forgot to answer in a timely fashion, realizing that I absolutely 100% loved this man with all of my heart and needed to get that yes out of my mouth. And here we are, 6 weeks to go until the big day and I couldn’t be happier. Andy is my everything…..and he is perfect. He is the kindest, most loving, hard-working, giving man that I have ever met in my entire life. My perfect family of 3 is a total blessing and we couldn’t be happier!”
